Admissions Open for BSN Generic (4-Year Program) 2025 in Punjab

The Punjab Health Department has announced admissions for the BSN Generic 4-Year Degree Program for 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online for admission in 44 nursing institutions across Punjab.

The Last Date to Apply for Admission is December 23, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for BSN Generic Program

The following eligibility requirements must be met to apply for the BSN Generic (4-Year) Degree Program:

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) with at least 50% marks from a recognized Board.
• Age Limit: The maximum age is 35 years as of the last date of application submission. No relaxation will be given beyond the permitted age limit under any circumstances.
• Domicile: Candidates must have a domicile of Punjab province.
• Preference: Female candidates can provide preferences for admissions in any of the 43 colleges, while male candidates can only apply to the College of Nursing, Shahdara Hospital, Lahore.

Criteria for Merit Determination

Merit for admissions will be determined based on the following conditions:

• Marks obtained in F.Sc. (Pre-Medical).
• In case of equal marks in F.Sc., marks obtained in Matric (with Science) will be considered.
• If both F.Sc. and Matric marks are equal, seniority with respect to age will determine the merit.
• In case of a tie at all levels, the matter will be decided by the SHC&ME Department.

• Admissions will be conducted purely on a merit-cum-preference basis through the centralized online system.
• Ensure submission of complete and verified documents, including CNIC, domicile, Matric, and F.Sc. certificates, along with the application form.
• The application processing fee is Rs. 500, payable at the designated bank branches. Upload the receipt along with your application to the online portal.
• Applications received after the deadline or via mail/courier will not be entertained.
• Ensure the online application is fully completed by 4:00 PM on Monday, 23rd December 2024.
